What began as a small workspace with only one masterji grew into an evolving space where ideas turned into garments, and garments turned into heirlooms. With every collection, the founders, experimented, and refined. Their shared values, mirrored tastes, and devotion to
craftsmanship transformed a friendship into a brand and a name into a promise. Ritanya is more than the merging of two names. It is the merging of two lives, two dreams, and two interpretations of luxury - minimal, effortless, and deeply personal. For the women who choose Ritanya, clothing is not an accessory. It is memory. Ritu Roongta
Ritu began her journey as a designer with a humble start. Deeply passionate about fashion from a young age, she was often the go-to person among friends and family for styling and outfit advice.
Now a mother of two grown sons, she has spent the last 12 years balancing her responsibilities at home with her role as the driving force behind her boutique design venture. Her determination is one of her strongest qualities—whenever someone suggests that something may not be possible for her business, it naturally becomes her next objective. No matter how challenging the circumstances, she finds a way to make it work. Resourceful, focused, and relentless, she is always prepared to take on the next hurdle.
Her qualities form the perfect yin to Tanya’s yang—their strengths complementing each other to create a balanced and effective partnership.
A fun fact: she initially started her business quietly, and many people had no idea that the clothes they were wearing were designed by her.

Tanya is the people’s person of Ritanya. Her approachable nature and warm, lively energy naturally draw people to the brand, often opening doors that may have been difficult to access otherwise.
Before co-founding the brand, she worked with multiple fashion labels, curating some of the finest styles available in Surat. Her keen eye for beauty and understated luxury has been a major strength for the company.
Tanya is also a proud mother to a young daughter who has supported—and stylishly represented—her mother’s work from an early age.
